The Di Zhao vertical bass flute is all silver-plated with a curved headjoint and trill keys.  It extends the range of the flute a full octave below middle C, and has a rich, deep sound.  It's rich low notes add depth and color to any flute choir. Due to its ergonomic design, the vertical bass flute allows the player to play the flute standing vertically off the floor.

Chris Potter, well known low flutes expert, reviewed the Di Zhao vertical bass flute favorably at the NFA Flute Convention in Chicago, 2014.  It is on her recommended list of vertical bass flutes to buy.  This flute is well worth considering, especially for it's aggressive pricing that sets it thousands of dollars less than the next vertical bass flute on her recommended buy list.
